In today’s world, globalisation and innovation are influencing the strategy of businesses and their managers. ESC2R aims to train its students to become future responsible entrepreneurs, capable of operating in a global environment. The school is perfectly in step with both current and future needs of businesses, a strength that pervades the entire institution, from lecturers through to education and research.
ESC2R is dedicated to producing mangers capable of operating in the workplace as soon as they graduate. With this in mind, the Business School of the International University of Rabat draws on the teaching and expertise of research lecturers at ESC Rennes School of Business and Moroccan experts in the field. This strong synergy constitutes a genuine asset in terms of preparing the next generation of players who will be required to operate and to create value within our now globalised economy.

Presentation
The International University of Rabat (UIR) is determined to play an indispensable role in developing the economy of knowledge, mainly in Morocco but also in Africa, by responding to the concerns of developed countries, international organisations and the Union for the Mediterranean. Created with the support of both the Moroccan and French governments, the UIR boasts various educational and research centres in a range of areas, including information and communication technology, engineering science and renewable energies. It also runs an institute of political studies.
ESC2R Rennes Rabat Business School forms part of the International University of Rabat, with study programmes adapted to suit the regional context. It will roll out its Grande Ecole Programme (BAC + 5) and International Bachelor Programme in Management (IBPM) – (BAC + 3) from here as of autumn 2010. These programmes are taught in the same way as those run at the ESC Rennes School of Business campus in Rennes (France).
ESC Rennes School of Business is a management Grande Ecole accredited by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research and by the Open University of Great Britain. Its Grande Ecole programme is also EPAS certified, courtesy of the EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development).
Ever since it was founded, ESC Rennes School of Business has placed a particular focus on the international scene. 80% of permanent teaching staff and a third of students are international, which lends the Rennes campus a highly unique multicultural vibe. This unique international environment in Europe means that pupils can study in conditions conducive to the broadening of horizons and the development of a people-focused approach. The school is a member of the French Grande Ecoles consortium and stands out for its high academic standards and close links with businesses.
Lecturers at ESC Rennes School of Business are heavily involved in the teaching and creation of new knowledge through their research activities. This ensures that a steady stream of the latest discoveries feeds into the teaching of management science. Research is organised into two research centres: the responsible business centre and the technology and innovation management centre.
Businesses are more than just the end-goal for our students. They are also valuable educational partners who support them from the moment they join the school until they graduate. Programmes
